ICen DM

The new ICen DM compact infrared transmitter makes connecting the INFRACOM system to the DIGIMIC conference system much easier and faster. Both systems can be connected directly to each other via an RJ45 plug.

The ICen DM compact transmitter is used within the INFRACOM system to transmit 8 audio channels using infrared light. The audio signal is converted into a modulated transmission signal in the low-interference IR band IV and emitted via connected INFRACOM radiators IRad. Up to 8 channels (OR + 7 languages) from the DIGIMIC system are transmitted simultaneously on different carrier frequencies. The number of channels can also be increased by cascading additional ICen DM transmitters.

Each transmission channel can be switched on individually and assigned to one of 32 possible frequencies. The transmitted signals are received with the INFRACOM IRX receiver and listened to via headphones.

The new ICen DM will be available from Q4 2024.
